If Quebec can separate from Canada, then BC, Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska, should get together and become a separate country. Just think what we could do with the movie industry. For example, we could come up with a public non-violent 3D program/game that could be entertaining and educational. We could evolve our education system. David Suzuki could become environment minister. We could change our voting system. For example, we could vote for more than one party. Personally I would vote for the NDP, Canadian Action Party, Green party, and Marijuana party, because I would like to live in a Green Country. But they should have female leaders like Pamela Wallin, Oprah Winfrey, and Queen Elizabeth II. They have websites. Each Party and State should put up a 5 year detailed plan on their websites for public viewing. So you come up with some ideas. Who knows, we might print them. | What do your kids really do in school? They usually say nothing. Is school really that boring, so dull that they've forgotten before they left class? What school do you send your kids to? What sort of programs would you like to see implemented to improve your child's learning experience? Ask them. School has become a place where status is most important. You have to have money, nice clothes, the looks. School needs implement uniforms so that students are more concerned about there school work and not what others think about them. This would reduce low self-esteem and cases such as the Colombine incident. Why not give your child some good books that you can read to them, and they can learn to read back to you ? | Do you think (as I do), that each party should be required to post a draft budget for their party? I feel that the parties should have to show us where our money will be going on their websites, pamphlets and platforms. Each budget should be expressed in simple $'s and provided months before the election. By showing us their plan for Canada's finances we will be more likely to vote for the party that spends our money best. They should let us know what they're really plan to do, we'll be more likely to follow their leadership. Lay out your hand on the table for us to see, then we will decide if you have won. Does anyone know any figures for the budget? What percentage should go towards our National Debt ? We don't see the full $13 billion, $10 billion yes and put back the cuts made to the people. Like the 1% GST cut that got you elected, eh! What is this extension on drug patents that cost Canadian Taxpayers $120 million a year, eh? That's $0.6 billion for the next 5 years. | The safety of ourselves and our children are at risk each day. The problem of bad drivers is prevalent around the world. Maybe we could enact more restrictions on new drivers. Every car should have a governor (unless they're racing, in which case that person should get a race sponsor, so they can race legally), I propose that we reduce the speeds of new drivers by designing a governor for each license. An 'L' will get you 50km whereas an 'N' will allow 70km speeds. Once a person has recieved their 'G' they have earned the right to travel the highways at 100km. What do you think?
